ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe Heavy Plate Unit products X wear plates, N-A-XTRA / XABO and performance can not be produced in high strength steel Turkey and has industrial steels that must be imported. The sectors we address are as follows; Let us briefly explain our products of different quality that are used in many fields such as heavy machinery industry, construction equipment production, cement and asphalt factories, stone and sand quarries, mines, thermal power plants, dam constructions, truck-mounted cranes, garbage and scrap trucks and suitable for various purposes.
What are the technical specifications of N-A-XTRA Steel?
N-A-XTRA 700 is among the most common hardened and tempered steels that can be easily processed. It has a yield strength of at least 700 MPa and has a superior toughness up to -60 degrees. Thanks to its superior toughness value, it provides the possibility of welding with more heat input and longer cooling time t8 / 5. Thanks to its chemical composition, it has become susceptible to cold forming and all general welding methods. Low carbon ratio of N-A-XTRA is also one of its characteristic features. Pre-heating costs are reduced when using N-A-XTRA instead of St52. It can be welded up to 20mm without preheating, but the welding method is important. It can be welded both manually and automatically. Depending on the hydrogen content and heat output of the weld, welding can be done under preheating. Working temperature should not exceed 250 degrees. In order to ensure that the steel properties are not disturbed by thermal cycles during welding, the upper limit for the inlet gas temperature must be determined. Depending on the mechanical properties required in welding connections, post-weld heat treatment is not required. If stress relief is foreseen in building arrangements, it should be done at temperatures ranging from 530-580 degrees. It is generally cold-formed below the stipulated high stress relief temperatures. Stress reduction will be sufficient if it is done to reduce the effect of cold forming and to correct hardness deteriorated by cold forming. It is also necessary to know that stress relieving heat treatment does not completely correct the effects of cold forming. Hot forming, operations above the maximum allowable stress relief temperatures are also possible. However, it removes the effect of the first heat treatment. Therefore, an even heat treatment is required after hot forming.
